TRAVELOGUE
Long Beach, CA
Long Beach, CA
It's been years since I migrated to Long Beach California. The days where I would wash myself cold in a cold morning; sleep without pajamas in a freezing night; and eat tons of ice cream all day long. Yes tight complications did come along, and I really miss Long Beach, not the best city but the most pleasant I can say.

Long Beach is a city in California located South of Los Angeles near Bellflower and Cerritos. According to http://en.wikipedia.org it states that, "Long Beach is the 36Th-largest city in the nation and the fifth-largest in California. As of 2008, its estimated population was 492,682.ND largest city after Los Angeles, and also the largest city nationwide that is not a county seat." So, Long Beach has an advantage to near Hollywood exposures and Universal Studio tours.
The weather there is perfect! Neither warm nor cold climates stays in this city for long. Since she is near a Pacific Ocean moderate temperatures like 13-22 degrees Celsius are likely to occur.
Aside from it's location and temperatures, Long Beach is very famous on accommodations. It's filled with commercial, and residential buildings. And mostly, some owners there are Filipino's so rest assure of great hospitality when coming to apartments and mini-marts. Most of the schools there are near residential zones. Therefore, almost all schools are walkable by distance. Some supermarkets are even just behind your apartment. I remember the days when our family would go to VONS or WALMART on Saturdays and walk on school during Sundays and weekdays. It's a nice experience to be walking and getting to dwell with how wonderful nature is.
Two best attractions in Long Beach are the parks and the beaches. A park I have gone to is, Scherer Park. It's a free park open to everyone. Plans on picnics, parties, hotdog competitions, getaways, day-offs, and excercising just comeby in this park. They even have this mini-lake where people can grab their unused bread and loaf and feed them off to the ducks. It gives off quite a hobby to feed ducks that loves eating bread. Belmont shore, is a great place for summer vacations and FOOD! There is this bridge near Belmont Shore where you can see tons of clams! For all those filipinos, get ready cause you might need a new recipe with clams as an ingredient.
But one thing that would keep you to stay is the Citizens of Long Beach. They are very hospitable and very eager to help you in times of trouble. Got lost? Ask anyone and they will surely help you find your way. Although not all may answer your questions and concerns, but they will at least do their best to help you. In accordance to hospitality, if your a new neighbor try waiting for a couple of hours and your room or house will be filled with new neighbors. YEY! And that's not all, sometimes the people will give you food, etc etc etc. without even you asking for it. Such great hospitality this place has surely, this is one livable city.
